Pros

Pay is solid. The benefits are second to none. Pretty good about flexibility regarding time off, vacation, etc. Friendly people.

Cons

Constantly shifting goalposts. Poor communication between the top and middle/bottom.

Advice to Management

Communicate better with the lower levels of the company. Nobody outside of management, VP, or C level has any idea what's going on.

    Pros

The owner is very generous, open and honest. The BLT is working hard with the owner to make much needed changes to make the company better. The benefits are awesome and the office space is open.

    Cons

Recently they made a change that we Can not work from home anymore and can’t work four 10 hour days.

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

It's pretty flexible and the hours are nice. Location and view are unmatched. Does have an nice open seating concept.

    Cons

Accounting department is a joke. The accountants they hire are the bottom of Ye barrel. Any smart accountant knows not to apply here. I'm obviously not smart. No one, not even team leads or managers or directors understands how the company works, let alone how to do financials for anything. The accounting books are so messed up that it's amazing it gets past the audit. Because of all this, you learn nothing and any chance of furthering your career or expanding your knowledge is nonexistent. Management will not help you. They just stay in their office all day. The morale of the accounting dept is bad. The accountants have absolutely no respect for the team lead. The weekly staff meeting involves 2-3 accountants just complaining about how they can't get their work done. Team lead is flexible in moving the deadlines but the accountants still never meet it and still complain for 1.5 hours every week. Absolutely a joke and the most unprofessional accountants I have ever worked with.

    Advice to Management

What you're doing is not working. For 1.5 years all I heard from the director is 'hang in there, we're not there yet, but we will be.' How long does it take????
