Moreover, they genuinely listen to their employees' feedback and consistently prioritize treating their workforce exceptionally well.

          Pros

Compared to the average chain restaurants like Applebees and Olive Garden. I believe Cheesecake has made most things fairly efficient in the way they do things. You expect it to be a lot considering how extensive the menu is but they break things down into pieces for you and constantly try to do better.

          Cons

They have to schedule so many servers or bartenders in a week therefore shifts can be skimpy, especially during the slow season. Also managers constantly juggling multiple tasks at once, which isnt a big deal until you need them asap.

Thank you for the efficiency comment! Our extensive onboarding and ongoing training is designed to make sure everyone feels ready for day one and beyond. So even though there's a lot to know, we make it easy to learn. As far as scheduling, we do want to make sure everyone is getting the hours they want. You should always feel free to discuss your hours with your managers.

For those who are/were in management- At how many years of experience did you get your first job as a manager? How did you make the jump into leadership? For people whose first management role started at a new company, how did you convince them since you had no prior experience in management??

I just had a great interview with a tech company and was turned down because I am over qualified. Are there any tips or suggestions on getting better feed back after interviewing?

Are case studies/presentations a normal part of interview processes? This is in addition to several interview rounds. These typically take 2 days to do, and require of anywhere from 6-15 slides worth of information, and require deep dives into company product portfolios, use cases, competitive advantages, application to fictitious customer scenario JUST to present. It's exhausting to have to do multiples of these and feels like free labor.
