Will do same functions daily even though they say you will rotate functions so you don’t do the same thing each day.

The people, very structured, learn a lot about healthcare, plenty of networking opportunities, good pay, provided housing

        Cons

I honestly had the best experience and have nothing to complain about.

          Pros

Great culture and most of my colleagues are wonderful. Working from home can be a benefit for many, flexible shifts, decent benefits, and supposed career growth. A good manager/supervisor is vitally important to how you feel about Cigna.

          Cons

Low pay for a difficult, stressful, emotionally draining position. Not even an encyclopedia can handle all the information you are supposed to know. Supervisors are hard to reach for assistance, a good one can help you keep your sanity and make a world of difference in how your day is. But if you're lucky enough to get a crap supervisor who does nothing to get to know you or assist you can bring you down considerably. There are many, many questions you will have and the most common answer you will get is someone telling you to use Knowledge Exchange, or Cigna's internal Google. The problem with that it can take a long time to create a question that the AI will give an accurate answer to. That can be very inefficient, and even more difficult to do with a customer on the line continually asking questions or making it clear that it's taking too long. So even just providing the correct article to look up would help, but that is not how it's done, and with a manager who's too busy to ever get back to you, good luck. figuring things out. The rate of Band 1 employees getting promoted to better positions is extremely low. Hard to feel a lot of warmth for a job like this- they are always hiring for this position because it's a revolving door entry level position.
