Pros

I freelance for TCF as an Editor and SEO/Content Strategist. This team is fun, hard-working and super savvy at what they do. Kari's leadership style is to hire talented people and let them do their jobs without micromanaging - and as a result, the team is very self-directed and motivated. Staff works together effectively from all over the world because of their strong ability to communicate and collaborate. Kari is a leader in the field of Marketing and SEO, and she's a woman you can learn from! She's always treated me with kindness and respect, and she makes a point of paying me almost instantly after I submit my invoice (even though she lives on another continent!). I highly recommend TCF as an employer.

Cons

No cons that I can think of.

Pros

Sure, one of the big draws of working at TCF is the ability to work from home with flexible hours, but I think the best perk is honestly the ability to learn new things each day and take creative risks. If you've ever had a job where you've suggested a solution to a challenge, only to be shot down because it's "not the way we've always done it," TCF is the antidote. I've worked at plenty of agencies that talk the talk, but get cold feet when it's time to evolve. But TCF is different -- if you bring an idea to Kari and explain why it makes sense, she's just as excited to try it as you are. For me, that's priceless. I emphasize enough how much you can learn, and how fast, when you're given that kind of support. It's also great just to know you're working for a company that consistently delivers great results, and be proud of the work you and your teammates do. The TCF team is as relentless as they are a blast to work with. The only downside is that because we're all remote, you don't get to spend much face time with your awesome colleagues :-)

Cons

You need to learn how to peacefully coexist in an office environment with your pets. Unfortunately for me, that means keeping the cats out of the room, or else they'll keep trying to walk all over my keyboard.
