Pros

Communication seems to be very good, and management has some highly intelligent people working there. I would recommend working at this company.

Cons

Path to upper management does not seem well defined. Goals should be established in order to have direction and something to aspire to.

    Pros

    Salary is competitive
They hired a new training director about a year ago and the new programs he has put together are really good. It would be wonderful if more employees could be a part of those.

    Cons

Those who are 'leaders' of the company (VP's and Directors) play favorites, which is a shame because they generally are not the top performers. They ignore the senior (as in age/tenure) employee who has a lot to offer. They also set employees up to fail. There is not a lot of positive feedback. There used to be some nice people in HR who would listen/help employees but not any more. They are told to provide customer service to those who directly impact the business, not other employees, as that is where the money is. Same with the Operations, Finance and Accounting groups. This company talks about working as a team, but they can not seem to pull that together.

    Advice to Management

When (if) the economy turns around, you will lose a lot of good people because those in leadership roles do not respect their employees or give them the credit for results..the leader takes it all herself/himself. Their rudeness and blatant disrespect is uncalled for. This company has so much to offer - it is a great business to be in. Please take a hard look at everyone from Regional Presidents to VP's (Ops, HR, Finance, Accounting, etc.) - there are some incompetent people in the group. And if you see one with high marks...look at their staff because that is probably who makes them look good. My review rated me as exceeds, but I don't want to continue to work for a company that has no respect for employees.

    Pros

The only Pro I can think of would be the benefits package if you're in need of a decent insurance with a decent deductible.

    Cons

DMs, RMs, and everyone else above you make you feel worthless and disposable.
Accounting - terribly disorganized and careless.
    Don't value their employees.

    Advice to Management

Instead of hiring your friends, or a friend of a friend, you may want to try hiring people that are adequate for the job even if you don't know them.
