I have been working at The Culinary Institute of America full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Great perk of free food for breakfast, lunch and even dinner if you want to stay late. Admissions Team cares about each other..

Cons

Lack of encouragement for professional development. Growth opportunities within the college are very very limited.

I worked at The Culinary Institute of America part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Good when I was a student because hours were varied and I worked when I could work depending on the school work load.

    Cons

There was no room for advancement. The next level up was the kitchen manager.

    Advice to Management

I don't really have any advice. I really liked my kitchen manager. He listened and was more of a mentor to the students.
