I worked at The Delta Companies full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

The pay is good if you make it past a month

Cons

They don't tell you the logistics of the job in the interview they just emphasize the money. You're making 150 calls a day at random hospitals trying to convince people to work with you. Their goals are unrealistic. They fire you after a month if you haven't recruited at least 10 people. The management sucks and the owner is a con artist. The turnover rate is extremely high and as a recent college grad I felt like they took advantage of that during the interview.

Advice to Management

Set more realistic goals and don't have people call random hospitals to steal jobs! Call the people that you already know are interested!

I worked at The Delta Companies full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

The culture is fun, the training is great, philanthropy is a huge mission

    Cons

Not a lot of room for advancement although they say there is. Raises aren't great or based on merit but everyone around you is getting richer. There are a lot of politics.

    Advice to Management

Pay your support people. Get good people that know what they're doing and pay them well to do it. It doesn't have to be a revolving door!

I worked at The Delta Companies as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

They actually do have jobs to fill. Fantastic turn-around time (first contact vs. placement). They are paying a solid market rate and will provide excellent housing.

    Cons

The jobs they have ... nobody wants - but you will never find out about it until you stat the actual assignment. Will stop taking your calls once they place you. If anything goes wrong will take the client's side. Health provider beware: their "recruiters" are highly skilled sales people that will use every trick in the manual ("script") to sell you on the job. Do not fall for it: insist on a phone conversation with the facility and former/current health care providers.

    Advice to Management

Staffing is different from selling used cars.
