Pros

The company is still run by the founders that grew it from 5 employees to 85. They are very dedicated and work along side employees. Employees feel very supported.

Cons

Long hours. But this is a given in this industry.

Advice to Management

If an employee is under-performing it's okay to let them go.

I have been working at The Garrigan Lyman Group as a contractor

    Pros

Everyone has been extremely nice and helpful. The office is bustling with creative energy. I love the open floor plan and music playing. Small things do a lot to boost morale.

    Cons

None that I have seen yet.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Next to some nice places to eat. Easy access from the bus tunnel. Good coffee and snacks and such in break room.

    Cons

Contractors ("freelancers") are thrown in with zero ramp up. I was interviewed for a pure front-end web development position. Tuns out the job required a good bit of .NET as well. No problem for me, because I have a .NET background. However, .NET was never mentioned in the interview, and a non-.NET person would've been sunk.

    Advice to Management

More communication, especially from PMs to "freelancers". More ramp-up and onboarding resources (as opposed to the current level of none).
