    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at The Gladstone Institutes full-time

    Pros

Lots of smart colleagues, great benefits, interesting talks and events for scientists to learn new techniques and meet more scientists, many instruments and cores in the institution, decent time off, UCSF campus doesn't have the best food.

    Cons

There are not a lot of cons, but the low pay stands out the most. San Francisco is trrribly expensive. They will make you pay $280/month for parking. No where to move up without PhD.

    Advice to Management

Provide your employees a place to park without astronomical fees. If you overwork the scientists without allowing them to move up in position, they will feel burned out with little to motivate them beyond their paper and future prospects (with other companies).
