Pros

The company offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to have great work life balance. The flexibility to work from home is great.

Cons

The benefits offered are not great. They do not offer any additional time off if you are sick. Employees are forced to take their vacation days when they are not feeling well.

Lost confidence in the leadership of my group and division when they made a series of poorly calculated decisions that greatly affected the morale of our team.

Advice to Management

There should be more of a weeding out process for people that don't work hard and carry their weight in the team.

    Pros

Good amount of paid time off and a long history of having a salid business name. Or course now they are ruining that name, by trying to cut corners.

    Cons

Under paid compaired to other companies
Work load is much larger then compairable companies
    Zero respect from management.
Most of middle management has no idea what they are doing.

    Advice to Management

Stop trying to squeeze your exsiting employees for every possible amount. The work enviroment is frantic & stressed out because of the unrealalistic expectations.

    Pros

There was a very good few months of initial training, a good training bonus, and outside experts to give lectures on Accounting, Clients Relations, etc.

    Cons

Usually underwriters/underwriter trainees must stay late until at least 8pm. Environment is very hierarchical and includes a lot of favoritism.
