    Works with School
    Friendly fellow associates

    Cons

    Bad Pay
    Unorganized heads
    Low staffed
    Rude customers

    Advice to Management

Make sure your DH and MODs communicate with each other before they tell the associates a thousand different things. It's irritating getting into trouble because one person told you to do one thing and did not inform the others that they told the associates to do this."

I worked at The Home Depot full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Met and worked with nice people.

    Cons

Commission only- No base or draw- Most weeks it costs you money to work there.
Limited to no mileage -Even though required to drive own car to client homes and corporate office.
No work/life balance expected to work 12 hours per day 7 days a week. No advance notice of schedule find out at 9 pm the night before.

    Advice to Management

Manage by motivation instead of intimidation. Dont allow sales managers to compete with sales reps by giving them control of assigning appointments while still maintaining a sales quota of their own. Accept negative feedback when provided, don't set employees up to "tell you what you want to hear" by using threats from bosses telling us to lie when asked about training, work conditions ect in new hire conference calls with HR.
