I worked at The Home Depot full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

for the most part you set your own schedule, as long as you worked at least one full weekend a month and got 40 hours etc.

    Cons

Nothing bad happened to me but that is uncommon. Fights can happen twice a week, and the better you are the more you fight and the more you are at risk for injury. Every apprehension is not a fight however it could be. The pay is not worth the risk of injury.

    Advice to Management

Pay the Loss Prevention Specialist more, they make million dollar decisions everyday. (possible lawsuits)

I have been working at The Home Depot full-time

    Pros

Flexible schedules, family friendly, fun atmosphere, good benefits, community involvement. Great company to work for, in addition to all the benefits above, they also promote career growth.

    Cons

The downside is a lot of long hours and with being in the retail business, only given the bare minimum holiday's are given
