Home Depot is a solid company.

Cons

Managers need more management training. Too much politics at store level.

Advice to Management

Train your management team. These people don't have a clue when it comes to being in a lead role. Please offer a better management program.

    I worked at The Home Depot part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Great people to work with. It helps understand basic home improvement knowledge. The company is willing to teach you if you are willing to learn.

    Cons

    Reaching sales quotas every week. Having the Managers speak only in terms of selling. Only to see the managers benefit from it

    Advice to Management

    Do not make judgments on work ethic when you walk past employees starting a shift.
