I worked at The Home Depot full-time (More than 10 years)

Pros

good company with an excellent corporate sop and safety standards

Cons

Benefits costs too high and company policy/sop not enforced fairly corporate-wide and across the platforms.

Advice to Management

Need to find ways to monitor middle level management and ensure company policy are being practiced 100% all the time corporate wide.

I have been working at The Home Depot full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good for part time extra work.

    Cons

Schedule for full time is disruptive to home life balance. The one time value of paying a valuable employee what they are worth has been replaced with the thought that so many people need a job that they can pay below true value for experience.

    Advice to Management

Lose the favoritism, get some stability

I worked at The Home Depot part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good starting pay for someone with no experience. Works with your schedule if you are part time. Good chance at over time during busy seasons

    Cons

To many managers for the store. Must fight to keep ladders in a department. Most employees almost seemed disengaged.

    Advice to Management

Work with employees a little more
