I have been working at The Home Depot full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Work life balance in my group is pretty great, not so great in many others, I seem to have gotten very lucky when I blindly walked into the lions den

    Cons

Culture is very dog eat dog, people throw each other under the bus left and right, folks get fired all the time, benefits are horrendous for a company this size. Works we'll if it's your first good job but experienced hires won't drink the punch like everyone else. Gave it a fair shot but will be delighted to turn the page on this chapter

    Advice to Management

Too many chiefs not enough Indians, org is severely misaligned, spend more on state of the art solutions and stop putting band aids on everything

I have been working at The Home Depot full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Graet sales experience, aquired alot of home renevation knowledge. Apportunities to grow and share the company's success.

    Cons

Working with home depot requires extreme dedication to your job. Work-life balance is definitly scales down to work if you are in any managerial position. The company hires anyone with or without experience even people with no work ethics.

    Advice to Management

Discontinue FAST program ( work shif scheduel that requires full availability ) because this program leaves employees with no life time.
