Pros

Flexible hours. Easy commute, no management breathing over your shoulder. As long as the job gets done you never hear from anyone.

Cons

Low pay, and a communications disconnect between employee and management. You can do some great work, but would never get recognized for it. And that is if they even know (or remember) who you are.

Advice to Management

They need to start treating people like they are actually employees of there company. Regular reviews? News about new opportunities? information on the company's direction in the marketplace?

    Pros

Ability to work with a fortune 500 company through a contract

    Cons

Pay is horrible. Corporate people have no right having any jobs. Always screwed up our paychecks. Any change in benefits or any other importmant company information never provided. Leadership was very weak within company.

    Advice to Management

Think about your employees more and not just the numbers. Get rid of everyone in corp and start fresh. they are in there own little world at corp.

    Pros

Interview process was easy for a temporary contract job. Interview was over the phone and requirements were low. Overtime was only as needed so there was very little overtime required.

    Cons

No growth and no increase in pay for contractors. Worked for over a year and never got any merit increase or performance bonuses. No temp to perm opportunity either.
