I worked at The Meadows Racetrack and Casino full-time for more than a year

    Pros

great place to work as security. constant interaction with customers and coworkers. benefits, decent pay and on job perks and discounts.

    Cons

management chooses to have their favorites and lets their comments over ride another workers constant good deeds. anything that happens is assumed instantly negative and you cannot have your side of the story with out seeming defiant.

    Advice to Management

treat every issue equally and listen to both sides of a incident when a coworker makes a complaint. not everything is as it seems on the cameras. confronting a employee over a incident and making it a one side episode and not letting the accused person have a side makes for a hostile work environment. also punishing/writing up one person something and letting every one else get away with it also leads to a bad work environment.

    Cons

the disrespect we see on the floor by guest cause they feel entitled to act like idiots downgrading us, the dealers, and nothing is done

    Advice to Management
