I worked at The Nature's Bounty Co. (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I worked there for 10 years 2001-2011. Was a great company to work for while Scott Rudolph (son of the founder) ran the company.

    Cons

Bought by the Carlyle Group, an investment group in 2010. Now employees are just pieces in a big puzzle to make very rich people richer. They're downsizing, consolidating, and squeezing all the profits out of the company they can. Watch your back!

I have been working at The Nature's Bounty Co. full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Stable. Close to Home. Stable. Close to Home. Not much else.

    Cons

Severely underpaid. Company is so top heavy its almost comical. It it were a girl it would be 44DD-24-36.

    Advice to Management

If you want to keep the talent you have to pay them. Keep the turkeys and fruit and pay the soldiers who do the real work to stay. We watch people leave that are so talented and we just never get traction because of the turnover. Customer service and the factory workers stay. Senior Mgmt stays. Middle Management can't find much reason to stay.
