I worked at The Olympic Club part-time (More than a year)

Pros

Good pay for what I do...which isn't much as a lifegaurd.
The staff is chill.

Cons

SO BORING, I literally can't think of another job that's more boring than this.

Advice to Management

Not to look down on the women, we are just as capable and hardworking as the males.

    Pros

Beautiful facility and great location. Friendly coworkers and a great way to connect with people who are members for networking opportunities

    Cons

Their is a power struggle with upper management, making jobs frustrating. The benefits are not that great - you aren't even allowed to use the facilities or eat at the cafe

    Advice to Management

Be more clear about advancement opportunities, and vamp up the employee headquarters and break room. Very good human resources department, though.

I worked at The Olympic Club full-time

    Pros

High compensation compared to average salaries in the area
Membership is enjoyable to work for

    Cons

The two clubhouses don't work in correlation with each other
Miscommunication between management causes issues throughout the operation
Upper management/hr is afraid to handle difficult situations
Work life balance isn't a priority

    Advice to Management

Put money into the operation and value your employees more. Establish a better work life balance culture and less management turnover will occur.
