You'll be given far more responsibility than you should, and if you have what it takes, you'll elevate your skills far faster than you could anywhere else.
Cons
You are given no resources to complete your responsibilities; no matter how many times you explain your problems, upper management simply doesn't care. Which is mostly ok given that there is no serious sense of goals anyway. Just when you figure out how to duct tape together your job, upper management decides it's time for a restructure (about every 1.5 years), which they will execute without a real plan. The company only stays afloat because intelligent, creative, hardworking people are intrinsically driven to make things happen, and the thanks they get is utter contempt from upper management, who are willfully delusional and disconnected.
