I have been working at The University of Kansas part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great co-workers, and benefits. $40 stipend every 2 weeks. Free room & board. Staff deals well with crisis and change. Most situations have been dealt with before, so there's experience with any crisis.

    Cons

Much red tape, information comes to us late, but we're still expected to meet deadlines, lack of good communication. People don't know what's going on a lot of the time. People are sometimes inconsiderate and late, but there are few punishments to them.

    Advice to Management

Be more organized. Try to get information, and posters out sooner! Enforce policies among ALL staff members.
