The University of North Carolina System - Clinical Research Coordinator | Glassdoor
  1. "Clinical Research Coordinator"

    Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

I have been working at The University of North Carolina System part-time

    Pros

Work/Life balance is great, and it is easy to receive approval for time-off with UNC's TIM system; working as a state employee provides retirement benefits that you contribute to with each paycheck

    Cons

I work in an academic setting, so pay raises are difficult to come by unless the state decides there is room in the budget for that particular fiscal year. It took nearly 3 years to get a pay raise of $2/hour.
