I have been working at TheStreet full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

The professional growth of the employee is a top priority for the new management. There is a lot of transparency in the company where thoughts, ideas and questions are openly and comfortably addressed. The editorial team is innovative, hardworking and energetic and the work is interesting. Doesn't have unnecessary meetings, giving you time to do your work. Free snacks and drinks!

Cons

Not a lot of good restaurants in Wall Street.

Advice to Management

Continue to communicate future vision of the company to employees.

I have been working at TheStreet full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Brilliantly run company! Good management makes for Happy employees and The Street certainly has this in abundance. They are a wonderful company to work for. It is great to see people being hired from all cultures and backgrounds. The training is terrific. Jim Cramer and Elisabeth DeMarse are wonderful leaders. This company has a bright future.

    Cons

As an employee I have not experienced any cons.

    Advice to Management

As a relatively new employee, I would like to see all employees have an opportunity to learn about each department. There needs to be more crossover, so as to help each department understand what the other does. I believe this should be mandatory. Eg. All employees should sit in with customer service representatives for a couple of hours. Not only will it be educational of what the department does, but it is also an important eye opener into the needs of our customers.

I have been working at TheStreet full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Working at TheStreet has always been an enjoyable experience. Team member's ideas are welcome in this open environment. The company has been around for a while, but with the recent reorganization the company now has the energy of a start up. If you have the drive and the backbone then this is a great place to work.

    Cons

Not sure if there is room for professional growth.

    Advice to Management

Better planning for the short and long term need to be communicated to the team.
