- Company operates at the intersections of media, investing and M&A. Very exciting space to work in.
- Strong senior management team fosters environment of collaboration, transparency and integrity
- Open door policy welcomed by employees
- Employees can grow their career internally in the different business units (TheDeal, TheStreet, Subscription)

- Newsroom not as rowdy as I expected (think HBO's The Newsroom)

Advice to Management

- I appreciate management's leadership and communication to the team as the business evolves. It is good for employees to see how they are impacting the overall performance of the company.
- Add more fruit to the food pantry

I have been working at TheStreet full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very engaged CEO Elisabeth DeMarse, management and key team players are making changes that are allowing the company to grow and prosper in a fast paced environment. CEO has assembled a team of some of the best and brightest who are dedicated and passionate about the business. New ideas are encouraged with an open door policy. Great brand, product and audience. I really enjoy working here.

    Cons

Lots of competition in the finance space, but TheStreet continues to find ways to differentiate itself. In doing so, market share will continue to grow.
