I have been working at Thermo Fisher Scientific full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Job stability. (Fulfilling the 5 word minimum with this sentence.)

Cons

Very difficult to get your work done due to poor integration of acquired companies, lack of focus within leadership, condoning of silo mentality accross all business despite lip service given to importance of working across business.

Advice to Management

Fix the above and flatten the reporting structure

I have been working at Thermo Fisher Scientific full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The health benefits are wonderful and coworkers are great people, who are very under-appreciated by management.

    Cons

You work very hard and are not appreciated by management.
The raises leave very much to be desired - not even enough to come close to match yearly inflation.
Management doesn't communicate or even seem to care about their employees.

    Advice to Management

There are very good management courses on-line, please take them.

    Pros

The sales reps I worked for are great people. It started out rough, but they actually care about how I'm doing and they did a wonderful job of mentoring me.

    Cons

Definitely not very many opportunities available after my internship.
