I have been working at ThinkGeek part-time

    Pros

Even though it is a retail job, the upper management doesn't want you to be a mindless zombie salesman. While they have goals they would like you to meet, it isn't the focus of the company. They encourage you to play with the product, demo it, and generally just geek out with the customers.

    Cons

They don't give out many hours. Most weeks I only get 4 hours per week.

    Advice to Management

Upper management could give store managers some more hours to give out. The normal employee needs more than single digits hours a week.

I have been working at ThinkGeek full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Plenty of empty cubicles and offices to pick from.

    Cons

Management (whoever that is these days) is forcing people out. No one left that knows or appreciates ThinkGeek anymore. Complete disconnect with the customer. No involvement with thinkgeek stores at all.

    Advice to Management

2017 is a record year for resignations. Are you out of your meetings yet to notice?
Where is the employee development plan you promised over a year ago?
