I worked at Thomas Publishing Company full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great Location on 8th avenue. They have lots of windows in their office. Lots of team collaboration. Seems like most departments enjoy what they are doing. The ages of employees vary all cross the board.

    Cons

The company is ruthless. I was hired for the position of Digital Marketing Strategist. I left my previous position to move to Thomas. A week before I started I my boss that hired me was fired. They started me with copying notes from a meeting and had me as my teammates Admin. I was okay with this for a bit but was training myself on the side.

I worked there for six (6) days and was fired without reason. I was told that they do not need to disclose why I was terminated. My manager and HR was extremely rude and cold during the termination interview. It was a side of them that was never shown to me before. They just left me out in a worse position than when I started.

    Stay away

    Advice to Management

My advise is to train your employees before you make judgement about them and fire them. Take some time to get to know your employees and actually learn to care about the person.
