Approves of CEO

I have been working at Thomson Reuters full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Thomson Reuters has been a great company to work for, they recognize a hard worker within their employees and can advance them within the company.

Cons

The organization between files in the hard drive is very confusing. By having certain folders within clients information will allow for all of the information to be in one spot.

Advice to Management

Before Moving forward with an advancing an employee, be sure that they are properly trained with all of the procedures of the new responsibilities.

    Pros

It is a global organization that can offer opportunities outside of one native country. The work force is probably the most diverse you'll find anywhere. The technology is always changing.

    Cons

As a large company it often takes too long for new ideas to make it to the marketplace. Organizational changes take a long time to complete and can be disruptive to the business at times, but for the most part work carries on until there is an official directive to make a change.

    Advice to Management

There needs to be better recognition of employee's effort and proper compensation for those efforts. It should not be expected that one needs to leave and then come back to get a raise or promotion! (HR does advise this course for career advancement!)

I worked at Thomson Reuters full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Easy to commute from New York City mass transits. Good location, right at Times Square where the crystal ball dropped in very New Year Eve. Office working environment is good.

    Cons

Most people there do not get raise in salary in past several years (after the merger). Personal changing in upper management are surprisingly fast lately, which giving people the unstable feeling.

    Advice to Management

Should focus more on innovation and product quality.
