I have been working at Thomson Reuters as an intern (Less than a year)

Pros

Great work environment
Good pay
Friendly team members
Great work life balance - almost never expected to work more than 40 hours a week

Cons

Interview process is kind of horrible
Drug test has a lot of emphasis put on it (the people who did it for me made a mistake and they nearly had to push back my start date)
Sometimes inexperienced programmers

I have been working at Thomson Reuters full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

People are decent enough, but everything else... Building is great to look at though!

    Cons

Poor management, silo'd departments, no help. Felt like I was working by myself all the time.

    Advice to Management

Get everything consolidated and stop being the discount store.

I worked at Thomson Reuters full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Career growth opportunities for those who are not physically disabled.

    Cons

Company treats employees with physical disabilities unfairly. Refuses promotions and makes it difficult for those who are differently-abled to advance. Company promises survivor benefits and then makes it nearly impossible for elderly and impaired individuals to collect what they deserve, even for long time employees. HR department unhelpful on these issues.
