Pros
Great co-workers that help you find another job.
Cons
•Pay : not what you expect. Pay is not equivalent to the amount of time you spend with customer service. Loss is counted against you when the products fail ( products fail more than succeed) •Product: Seriously Joe Walsh? DexYP is not Redbox. Your parallel of us and Redbox is ludicrous! The value of being the last man standing comes with a product that people want. Forget the book—- it is not viable. Cost per lead on the digital products is sky high. Customers don’t know that they spend upwards of 66% + for a management fee on digital products. Customers ask you why they don’t get more leads from google. How do you defend that management fee to customer ? It equals a cancellation. Rep has no access to what really goes on behind the scenes with their keywords and geography setup. Digital guys behind the scene make changes to better monetize customers spend for the company. Don’t get me wrong—- I love making money however you have to be fair and able to sleep at night. Rep spends too much time on follow up that the Foreign customer service reps throw back 10 times before resolving. Thry: RC great concept. Give credit to the people under you who really do the work. Not enough support. Processes and procedures are not clearly thought thru. Too many bandaids to cover a wound. Other companies provide the same service That actually works at a fair price point. Not enough customer service reps to set up a program correctly or effectively. Websites are never what you discussed with customer service. Rep spends more time to fix it. Customers unhappy. Culture: how do you spell success? D E X? People are unhappy. Morale is horrible. If you screw your peers and your customers you have great opportunities for advancement. Management: They don’t care. Micro- managed to the Nth degree. Phone calls, emails, calendars constantly monitored by management to valid your actions. I get that but no trust from management. JWhas to make more money so his $3.2 million home increases in value. Jim - joe’s sidekick is friendly and fun to talk to, but what really happens after a meeting is the exact opposite. Reps and other employees don’t trust upper management. Just the numbers Financial: 3 bankruptcies. Upper management wants to buy more companies= past history of Yellowbook/Hibu pre bankruptcy. What is the common denominator? Upper management. Tweaks in commission structure = less money for the rep.
