TT Cares

This company doesn't have an ego, I have been at other companies where people can be hard to work with and I can honestly say I haven't come across anyone at Thumbtack with that attitude. Everyone from the CEO to the support agents all have made me feel welcomed and valued!
Cons
I wish there was a 401k match and more opportunities for a bonus!

A true diamond in the rough

If you are a builder, this is the place for you, as you will be building the foundations upon which this company will grow. That does also come with ambiguity and needing to find your own direction a lot of times, but that is where many people thrive. And being a fully remote company, you are given the opportunity to work from wherever and almost whenever, but if you can't self motivate, you might not thrive here. Company is full of extremely talented, but also extremely humble and real people. I have never worked for a company where values actually play into everything they do - even behind closed doors. Our values drive our leaders and our leaders live our values day in and day out. The people make Thumbtack incredible and the culture here is second to none. TT is a diamond in the rough when it comes to working in tech. You won't find a better employer.
Cons
That ambiguity I mentioned previously. If you thrive in ambiguity, you will thrive here, if you do not and you need to be given direction constantly, TT might not be the place for you. It's been said many times before but a 401k match sure would be nice. Hopefully after we go public.
