I have been working at Thyssenkrupp Elevator full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Very nice work atmosphere, excellent in community.

    Cons

    - To many people put in positions that just want to get by and not make necessary changes. - Lack of company standards. No one wants to implement changes that will ruffle the feathers of fellow employees.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of the weak links. Just because someone has held a position for years, doesn't mean they are the best fit. Develop and maintain company standards that are readily available for employee review. Hire someone who can correctly estimate new jobs/. Eliminating employees is not a fix for bad estimates. Try and keep employees that benefit and develop new business.
