I worked at Tiffany & Co. full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Excellent benefits, opportunity for training programs and growth, many co-workers are wonderful people to work with

    Cons

Office politics rule all. Promotions happen because of time put in rather than work ethic and success in the previous role. Many mid-level managers are stale and have been in place 8+ years; this makes it difficult to create change and hinders upward mobility.

    Advice to Management

Take care of hard workers via promotions, raises, recognition, etc. Evaluate those who have been in place for many years to assess what they are providing the company.
