Pay by hour instead.

I worked at Time Warner Cable full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Benefits and on site cafeteria

If you try and think outside the Box you will be out of the company

I worked at Time Warner Cable full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good, smart people to work with. Everyone in the office in which I worked seemed focused on creating new and better ways to watch TV. Company offers great benefits at reasonable contributions.

    Cons

Senior management can't find direction. They take great ideas from smart, creative people and turn them into stupid ideas, relying on old, tired ways of doing things. The result is that the great ideas take forever to implement or don't get implemented at all.

    Advice to Management

Stop tying the hands of the people with the great ideas.
