Approves of CEO

I have been working at Time Warner Cable full-time (More than a year)

Pros

With over 47,000 employees, you might think that TWC would feel like every other large, publicly-traded company but this is simply not the case. TWC offers a dynamic work environment, outstanding benefits and incredible long-term incentives to assist in retaining employees.

Cons

It's still a big company and thus has inertia issues like every other large company. The company itself can't turn on a dime, but thankfully teams and groups are given reasonable leeway and flexibility to accomplish their goals.

Advice to Management

Keep the employees in the loop with respect to corporate intent and direction. Explain why, not just what.

I have been working at Time Warner Cable full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great health benefits but keeps getting less and less each year. It's the best I've seen in my 35 year career.
It's nice too have a full range of cable channels at a very low cost.

    Cons

Not a personal company. When you talk to HR it is either a machine or a 3rd party company.

    Advice to Management

The rank and file know the king wears no clothes. Be more straight forward.
Don't roll out cutting-edge technology before it's ready.

    Pros

The benefits are great! Employees get free cable.

    Cons

Management is short sighted. Actions are reactive rather than proactive.

    Advice to Management

Call Center would benefit greatly from project management staff.
