Pros

There are a lot of oppurtunities to move up its chill work atmosphere most of the time its in the city.

Cons

still corparate and you have to deal with office politics sometime.

    Pros

    Great company overall, a lot of great people that become family, excellent benefits, very diverse culture

    Cons

    If you want to have a work / life balance...if you want to be appreciated / rewarded for a job well done...if you want to be respected for the work you do...if you want to learn and grow in your position...and ultimately advance to the next level...if you want to have the support of supervisor....if you want to report to someone who actually knows something about training...STAY AWAY FROM THE SALES TRAINING DEPARTMENT. No leadership from the Senior Director of Sales Training,; he doesn't know anything about training. He has no leadership skills and doesn't know how to manage his people. He'll expect you to do all of his work for him, while he takes all the credit. Expect to work from the time sun comes up until long after the sun goes down...as you will put in very long hours...all for nothing. The pay is below industry standard, and the annual increases are truly a joke. If you have a passion for training and sales, and really want to learn and grow in a sales training position, where your ideas and the work you do will be appreciated....stay away from the TWC sales training department. If they ever get a new senior director, maybe things will change...but I doubt that's going to happen any time soon.

    Advice to Management

    Hire the right people for positions...especially when it comes to the person leading the team that is responsible for training your sales agents.

    I worked at Time Warner Cable full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    There is an over all "can do" attitude with many of the employees. Great culture and environment to work in, for the most part. The benefits are excellent too. Pay not to bad either.

    Cons

    The constant shift in how things change. Sometimes never getting the same answer, or any answer, to a question. As a CSSR, I had to retain customers as much as possible, but the company tied our hands in doing so.

    Advice to Management

    Give employees a little bit more leeway in trying to keep your customer. Also, start looking at upgrading customer's equipment ASAP
