relaxed environment, great coworkers committed to teamwork, decent pay,

mandatory overtime, poor business practices, don't adequately adhere to HIPAA laws, expensive benefits, laid off employees (me), inconsistent expectations of employee

the patients are more important than your deadlines

    I worked at Tobii DynaVox full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    It used to be a great company to work for - wonderful products that met a need, smart people, forward looking product plan. Now management is only concerned about the bottom line.

    Cons

    Since the company went public, it's gone downhill very rapidly. Salaries are not competitive; there seems to be absolutely no interest in keeping their employees or customers. and morale is terrible.

    Advice to Management

    Start making an effort to develop new products, but support your customers and make an effort to appease your disgruntled employeesl
