    I have been working at Topcon Positioning Systems full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Great products. Company is growing and provides their employees with flexibility.

    Cons

    Still trying to operate like a small company. Not building enough infrastructure to support the company growth. Lack of process, accountability and ownership. Inability to grow and evolve due to ineffective middle management.

    Advice to Management

    Empower people to drive and make change. Continuous learning, mentoring and training needs to take place at all levels. Encourage/enforce cross functional communication and team mentality vs. finger pointing and blaming. Hold people accountable. and learn from mistakes. Promote within and allow for career growth. Listen to employees. Reward success with profit sharing and performance based bonus program.
