I have been working at Tory Burch full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

-Great discount and frequent higher employee sales
-Amazing company values
-Company keeps retail level employees informed of their company goals and "bigger picture" (makes you feel like you're part of something bigger"
-Free wardrobe

Cons

-Corporate expects a lot from their retail employees (just be a good/hard worker)
-Corporate makes it known that they are indeed above retail
-Not effective communication amongst the varying factions
-Company is to timid when it comes to firing people who need to go

Advice to Management

Get rid of some of that extra weight at the retail level and corporate level. There are some people who no longer serve to better the company.

    Pros

luxury company, great employees in the corporate office, great product and benefits.

    Cons

still growing and changing policies, the growth is choppy sometimes and needs to be more seamless. The growth is for the good for the long run for both employee and customers but can be confusing to be in the middle.

I have been working at Tory Burch full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Their compensation and benefits package are decent. Commission percentage is lower than other retailers in the same price bracket, but they are consistently busier than all other comparable retailers. They are a rapidly growing brand and being a part of it as it grows provides a unique experience to people interested in retail growth and operations.

    Cons

Though they often speak of internal growth, they often hire from outside. It is hard to grow within the company and move from the retail side of the company to corporate side of the company. In my opinion, they do not cultivate employees and push them to succeed. This could have been a flaw within my own store, but it could be company wide. Lack of company cohesiveness, too. Each store operates differently, often causing gaps in communication between regions and other stores.
