I have been working at Total Quality Logistics full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

money, money, money
the management
running your business

Cons

working saturdays at the start of the job but it lessens over time

you will not like this job if you don't want to work. This is all about what you put into it.

Advice to Management

keep adding new stls and sgls

Your interview was dead on when you told us we were going to work but there was money to be made

I just started here a few months ago and I just started sales training. I have hit my goals and I can't wait to see what the future brings to me in the next few years.

I have been working at Total Quality Logistics full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Sales experience. Something for your resume.

    Cons

THE DRAW!!! Don't plan on making commission here.

Working Saturdays, all good leads are given to already successful brokers, 10 HOURS of phone time a week, back pain, eye strains, constant stress, watching another friend get let go every day.

    Advice to Management

Figure out a better commission structure. Are we really only worth 35K a year?

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Great training program and above average management.
Offices are equipped with state of the art technology.

    Cons

Some LAE's lack professionalism and good business ethics. Hard to work long hours with people having those characteristics.
Stress levels are high on a daily bases with truck fallouts, breakdowns, etc.

    Advice to Management

Integrity. A core value that needs attention. How will your SOL's react in situations when carriers are upset and the rate con sent was manipulated to get the carrier on a load? Instead of your management having a bias, they need to really crack down on deceptive tactics to keep a good company image.
