    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

    Free membership to all clubs
    Social
Flexible hours for GM role (however, MANY hours, but you can pretty much choose your schedule)

    Cons

Constant cuts, from positions being eliminated to management commissions being torn in half without warning. Recently base pay on some positions was cut. However, company continues to produce more and more hidden fees for members. Since they refinanced their debt, they are running in a state of panic... losing all of their good employees along the way.
Very unprofessional, under-developed managers. Managers are put in their seats far too soon and not developed for their roles. This leads to a high turnover rate, as you are only as good as your last month.
Gossip - people constantly throwing people under the bus, being competitive for the nowhere that there is to grow to.
Demand of time. TSI claims a "work life balance" as one of their core values, however, expect employees to work a minimum of 9 hours a day without a break, as well as two 12 hour closeout shifts per month which they are not compenstated with additional money or time off for doing this. Also required to work a variety of shifts including 4:30am starts, working as late as 10:30pm and many weekends.

    Advice to Management

On one hand I was told how talented I was and a great addition to the company. Then I was told to "forget everything I learned before TSI because it was irrelevant and to stop trying to reinvent the wheel." You hire talented innovated professionals, then expect them to work as puppets. If you want people to run down a punch list of duties and not "think", hire directly out of college.

  2. "Frustrating to see the top level management make no necessary changes."

    Pros

Great people and still getting members to sign up. The classes are great and offered throughout the day. Free membership to all the clubs.

    Cons

There is no respect for a regular associate and top level management enforces it indirectly (through bonus dispersement). The organization is making no changes.

    Advice to Management

Make serious improvements on your marketing strategy and your company profile. The employees are very unsatisfied. The employees that everyone seeks (your blue shirts) should be given the same respect from management as a membership employee.
