Pros

Great company, good long term security. Highly motivated peers, continuous improvement is a way of life. Be prepared for long hours and hard work, but reward is fulfillment and opportunities.

Cons

Long hours, OK pay, not going to get rich here. Must be OK w/ Japanese culture and production demands in every project.

Advice to Management

Keep focus on customers...which includes employees throughout. More learning and opportunities for career relocation are good for those who want to flourish.

    Pros

Some of the best reasons to work there are the quality of people at Toyota, attention to detail and respect for each person.

    Cons

Working in West Virginia, like a lot of auto companies they are building plants in the middle of no where which can be a pain to drive an hour from a small city. I would probably still be working there if the plant was in a more desirable location or I didn't have children in school right now. I would have rather taken a job in Georgetown, Ky a much nicer location.

    Advice to Management

Don’t waste your money building plants in remote locations. There are already many great locations with the workforce, infrastructure and cultural advantages that these remote locations cannot offer to an educated workforce. I believe this would help you retain many great employees that otherwise leave for no other reason.
