Pros

Great products (for the most part) and customers who really appreciate your help and advice on products. Easy to feel good about what you're selling. It's possible to get into management (which most crew members think is a crazy idea).

Cons

Five days a week can be wearing. Management members often spread gossip amongst themselves about crew members, even if it's hearsay (and often not true). Management positions are grueling.

Advice to Management

Run personality testing on management candidates for maturity and emotional balance.

    Low pressure environment.
Great health benefits after 3 months, don't forget to enroll!

    Great food! Employee tastings!

    Cons

Some personalities are a bit over the top, but that's life.
    Some repetitive tasks.
Beware of working in seasonal environments, or being hired for the season, if you are looking for a lasting job you may not be able to keep your position past the busy season.
Physical labor will take a toll after some time.
Management rarely listens to part time employees.

    Advice to Management

Take the time to listen to your part timer crew, don't forget to treat them as individuals with valuable ideas, not just part of your workforce. Give credit where it is deserved.
