Pros

Good pay and benefits, mostly good people who want to do a good job.

Cons

Biggest focus is on making the "numbers" every month and not accepting that the "numbers" might not be possible. Maximum overtime, squeezing suppliers, attempting to force suppliers to work overtime and weekends - all in an attempt to make the "numbers." Not much work/life balance. Union environment also hampers getting the job done.

Advice to Management

Constantly pushing people is going to burn them out. Constantly pushing suppliers is going to eventually sour the relationship - they are going to start seeking out other customers.

    Pros

There are none....other than to just have a job that continues to get the rich richer!

    Cons

This company does not care one bit about its employees. The only thing this company cares about is how much money they make. There is no incentive/bonus to work for this company other than to simply say you have a job. The moral is very low, and seems to be getting worse. I would not recommend working for this company at all. I have been with the company for a little while now and planning on looking for something better. You tell me how one person can get a 60 million dollar bonus check, but then want to give the employees a gift card, or better yet a merit raise that doesn't even cover gas to and from work. There is no moving up within the company, no opportunity for growth and the pay sucks. I would not even waste the time, or ink to fill out a application for this company.

    Advice to Management

Think about how you are making your numbers to be able to get the bonuses they get on the account of the employees. Without them there would be no trans digm. Give a reason for people to come to work for the company other than to just have a job. No one is trying to get rich, but to be able to feed and take care of our families.

I have been working at TransDigm full-time

    Pros

There are nice co-workers at the corporate office and other division offices and locations. Decent pay and benefits. Pretty good holidays.

    Cons

Corporate management is full of loud, crass, foul, chauvinistic, classless people. You have to play the boy's club game to fit in. Your life will be theirs and not yours anymore.

    Advice to Management

They would be too stubborn to heed any advice from some lowly employee.
