The company is results oriented and promotes from within. Open to ideas for change and improvement from individuals, allowing for creativity.

Cons

Work-Life balance exists, but is not the strongest the Chicago area. Functions are in silos and teams are not cross-functional in nature.

    Pros

Seemingly secure company. Reasonable wages and benefits.

    Cons

Power mad vice presidents. No empowerment. No respect for employees. Dirty politics. Favoritism. Unreasonable expectations. Extremely boring. Stagnant.Constipated culture.

    Advice to Management

Move into the new century. It's high time. Get rid of power mad vice presidents who run people into the ground with utter disrespect and personal bias. They will cause issues for the company in the long run. Stop using the term stability as a guise for stagnation. There will be no innovation till some VP's are removed. They company is too top heavy anyways.

    Pros

I have worked with some of the most intelligent group of engineers and middle managers. Very bright and willing to go the extra mile.

    Cons

Due to some of the major reconstructuring, multiple reorganizations, and usage of funds that could have gone to the employees, this company is on the verge of hitting rock bottom. They have recently hired a crew of misfits <place bank name here> that are currently forcing several very key and talented individuals to leave. Their motto is, "Lead by fear". Upper leadership has no clue as to what they are doing or ethics for that matter. They feel as if they are untouchable. Get rid of them, and people will stay. Cut it off at the head.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of all of the new leadership <bank name undisclosed>. They are steering the company down with them. Just check out the latest company survey or Glass Door comments.
