    Pros

    Invests in employee development
Strong company values are presented and exhibited by managers.
Strong focus on Health, Safety and Wellness of employees.

    Cons

Managers working on salary are not paid what they are worth in some unionized plants. Unionized workers are in some cases paid higher wages than the managers/supervisors they report to.
In some plants multiple positions are held by a single person and the workload is far too great for the compensation they receive.

    Advice to Management

Higher compensation and recognition for those frontline managers/supervisors that have the most difficult job to do in the operation.
Offering bonuses based on business unit profitability does not compensate the managers on the frontlines every day who often work far beyond regular hours each week. If Sales numbers are down that is not the fault of the managers working in production and is no reflection on how well their employees are being managed.

    Neutral Outlook

I worked at Transcontinental Printing as an intern

    Pros

    Advice to Management
