    Doesn't Recommend
    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Starting salary was competitive. Coworkers were nice.

    Cons

Starting salary was competitive however raises were only given to a select few. Top office performer was not given a raise or bonus. Management plays favorites and does not try to help those who are struggling. Training was not adequate to perform the job.

    Approves of CEO

    Pros

The culture at Travelers is very consistent and stable. There are many people who have been there 30+ years. The Benefits are excellent (Pension + 401k + health/dental/vision + bonus + stock options). Vacation is 20 days minimum with option of buying 5 and it increases as you are there longer.

    Cons

Travelers is doing a lot off-shoring of Technical Jobs, which hurts the company internally. There is not enough emphasis on internal training.

    Advice to Management

The company as a hoe should actively promote knowledge exchange, such as cross training and job rotations. For example send people to train for another position and then place them in that position.
