    Disapproves of CEO

    Pros

Benefits and salary are fair. New hires treated well for duration of training.

    Cons

Lack of leadership from upper management. Out of touch with reality; they base their opinions solely on their perceptions which also translates to your performance review and compensation. Upper management is snide and would have you think you are lucky to even have a job. Zero respect for the um's and adjusters. Forced to wear "Target red" uniforms on Mondays. Local HR has no integrity.

    Advice to Management

Show the 'secure, respected, and cared for' that you preach to your own employees. Folks are dropping like flies.

    Pros

Compensation and benefits are great especially when compared to other companies. There are a lot of professional development and its a recognized, reputable brand.

    Cons

In my experience, Travelers' management has favorites from the day they begin to work. It is not based on work but the rapport the employee has with the manager. Some departments are really backwards. Certain departments are male dominated and want to keep males in leadership positions.

    Advice to Management

Travelers needs to examine each individual for their contributions to Travelers. In my experience, Travelers would retain bad talent by just moving (or promoting) them to a new department without any merit. Instead of firing incompetent employees, they seem to keep employees who have worked for the company 10 - 15 years although the person's quality of work is subpar.
