    Pros

Mostly great co-workers who care about the journalism.

    Cons

Bosses are aloof and distant. Policy changes are simply issued without discussion with affected editors. This reply to another Glassdoor review is a lie: "We apply consistent and market-competitive compensation practices so we may attract, reward and retain high-performing talent." They low-ball locals, then pay 20-30% more to attract those from out of town.

    Advice to Management

Add 6 outside directors to the board. Cut executive compensation to reasonable levels. Fix the pay discrepancies.
