Pros

As Trimble has made numerous acquisitions, it has taken a hands off approach in the initial months to properly integrate pre-existing methods and management structure. At the same time, representatives from the corporate office make the rounds regularly to make it feel like employees aren't alone on an island.

Cons

After the hands-off period the company doesn't do enough to work on morale. In the current economy even a token effort in this regard would likely improve productivity.

Advice to Management

There seems to be difficulty separating the wheat from the chaff when doing the expected cost-cutting measures. Management should do a better job consulting with multiple levels of the organization instead of entrusting the task only to certain groups.

There are lots of Intelligent people there. The environment is open and friendly. The number of holidays and paid time of are fairly standard for a company of this size.

Middle management delays a lot of projects.

The senior management at Trimble seems to be fine. Although they appear to be buying a lot of companies all over the U.S. alot; how are they going to integrate them all?

    Pros

If you really need a job. Immediately management is normally good about being flexible with your schedule if you need them to be.

    Cons

Poor pay if you been there for years. It's very difficult to get competitive pay or salary adjustments. Things may have changed since, but not sure if they have.

    Advice to Management

Pay those who have put in years of work and provide assistance to peers.
